For those able to attend, Dick Landis’ memorial service is this Saturday, March 5th at 11:00am at the Peace Lutheran Church at 828 West Main in Grass Valley. Reception immediately following.
Bob Kline and myself will be meeting at the proposed bike park site at Western Gateway Park prior to our next regular meeting to look at areas needing to be cleared of brush. Be ready to volunteer for this effort sometime this month. This will be our Rotarians at Work effort this year, and part of our District Grant project.
Our lunch and tour of the Food Bank in Grass Valley last week was quite the experience. The lunch prepared was fabulous. The Food Bank is a wonderful organization keeping adults and children in need in our community fed. Our membership turnout was great.
There's a Board meeting at 11:00am prior to our regular meeting on Tuesday. Our regular meeting will be dedicated to our annual high school speech contest, organized by Youth Service Chair Jeanne Puleo.
