Douglas Hooper fascinated us with over 160 pictures taken over 18 years as a professional photographer at the "Burning Man" gathering. The marvelous structures hauled in and constructed on site are amazing.  The standard height is 45 feet often with built in light show at night and planned implosion when burned at the end of the event.  The rolling stock, often built on top of an existing chassis like parade floats, demonstrate real artistic and creative genius.

 

 

 

 

Attendance last week was much lighter than I would like to experience.   Please call those who have been absent recently and let them know that they are missed.  Great program speakers need an audience to be worth their time and Players Pizza always goes all out to make sure we are covered.
