The Fall Festival is behind us for this year. I believe we made the correct decision to cancel based on low vendor participation. Debbi Corbett and Barbara Ross did a great job convincing some vendors that we did the right thing. All monies have been returned to vendors that had signed up. Organization will begin early next year leading us toa successful event in October of 2016 with help from all members.

Thank you Bob Kline for investigating a winery visitation at Naggiar Winery. Tuesday, October 27th was the day chosen which would sub for our meeting that day. The cost would be about $28 per person and would include wine tasting, a cobb salad lunch with desert and gratuity. Bob will be checking with the winery as to the minimum number they will serve at that price.

Mike Dobbins and Dave Walker attended the membership and public image seminar in Incline Village this last Saturday. They reported having a great time and learned much about their areas of concern.

Pat Swope offered to be our club representative for the Area 4 business directory being put together by Pat Ward from the Grass Valley club. This is a great way to advertise your vocation to other Rotarians in the area. What better way to find a service needed at your home or business than through another Rotarian. See Pat if interested.

Rick Nolle was presented with his Paul Harris Fellowhip +2 and Dan Halloran was presented with a Paul Harris Society Member pin as well as his Paul Harris +4. Thank you both for your continued support of our Rotary Foundation.

Our two RYLA students, Rachel and Desmond gave a wonderful program of their life-changing experience at camp last year. It is exciting to see our students become young adults through Rotary. We wish them luck with their future endeavors.

Our District Governor, Gail “Virus” Ellingwood, will be joining us next Tuesday, September 29th. Please try to make this meeting. Should be fun and inspirational. She will be presenting Paul Harris pins and inducting our first corporate membership.

See you Tuesday. Have a good weekend.
