Our annual Christmas party is just around the corner, happening on Thursday, Dec. 17th from 5:30 to whenever at Betty Cook’s home at 19319 Tanager Court in Lake Wildwood. Anna Dillavou has organized it this year, arranging members to help Betty Set up prior and cleanup after. Thank you, Anna.

There will be a gift exchange for those who wish to participate. Gift purchases should not exceed $10 to $15. This is a great social event around the holidays. Looking forward to it. I will be putting a list together at our next meeting for those needing to be called in to Lake Wildwood at the main gate.

Passing the hat at our last two meetings for Christmas has collected $382. The club will match that making the total $764. This will be added to the Holiday Market points we have accumulated which will hopefully feed about 30 needy families for the Christmas holiday. Packing of the family meals will take place on Dec. 17 at the Holiday Market. Please consider helping in this effort. Thank you all for your generous donations.

At last week's meeting, Sid Salcido gave an inspirational program on how the Salvation Army benefits our community.

Congratulations to us! During 2014-15, our Clubmembers all participated in making a contribution to the Rotary Foundation, and exceeded the $100 per capita giving level, which made us eligible to received the Every Rotarian Every Year banner at the recent Foundation dinner.

There will be a Club Foundation Board meeting following our regular meeting Dec. 15 at Player’s.

Our program for Dec. 15 will be Danielle Yantis, a registered dietician with Western Sierra Medical Clinic speaking on diabetes. Should be a great program. Try not to miss this one.

We will be dark on Dec. 22 and 29 with our next meeting falling on Jan. 5, 2016.

See you Tuesday!
