Retiring District 4 Nevada County Supervisor Hank Weston will be honored as the Rotary Club of Penn Valley's "Distinguished Citizen" at a dinner to be held March 29, 2019 at the Lake Wildwood Clubhouse. The date was changed from January in order to focus on recent major fire and smoke conditions.

Previous honorees have included Dick Landis, Sherry Bartolucci and Mike Bratton. Supervisors Weston's district includes the communities of Penn Valley, North San Juan, Rough and Ready, Spenceville and Lake Wildwood.

Dinner and presentation of honors will start at 6:45PM, preceded by a no-host reception at 6:00PM. The buffet dinner will feature prime rib and halibut. The cost will be $80 per person, with a sponsorship package for 2 people at $250. Funds raised from the event will support Rotary's youth projects in the Penn Valley area.

The dinner is open to the public. Reservations will be taken starting soon. More information regarding the dinner will be available on the club's website. For more information, email Lindy Beatie at
