From Past-President Dave Walker
If you missed last week's meeting, you missed a WONDERFUL presentation by our RYLA delegates:  Emilia & Cody.  They are amazing young students, soon to be seniors at Ghidotti and NU, respectively.  We were all inspired by their leadership and speaking qualities!  We hope to see them at future Penn Valley Rotary events, like Polio Plus Fundraising, or the Drew Reynolds Memorial Softball Tournament.
Past-President, Dave Walker, presented each of them with Dick Landis' "Living for Tomorrow" Book!
Dave Walker was most informative in his well prepared presentation on "The Benefits of Rotary Membership."  Dave shared a video  of Rotary International Past-President, Ravi Ravindran, sharing all the benefits we enjoy through Rotary membership!  How many of your fellow Rotarians/neighbors would you know today had you not been in Rotary?
Please don't forget to check your email for the PV Rotary Club Member Survey.  Please complete it and return it to next week's meeting or mail it in.  You may do so anonymously.  Thank you!
It was great to have Grass Valley Rotarians, Bob & Carol Lenhard (and their new puppy Curly Sue), visit us Tuesday!
If you missed the opportunity to sign up for the Roots & Wings Wine Cruise, you still have time at next week's meeting or by emailing Barbara Ross.
Don't forget to sign up for the River Cats game on September 1.
