Field trip to Tom and Nadene's...it was a blast!! so good to have lunch at a great place that many of us have never been to...way the heck out there at the end of Spenceville Road...great tips on bread making, visiting their little AirBNB cottage, seeing the beehive and hearing about what Tom has learned so far...and the beautiful gardens...acres and acres.. Our area 4 is welcoming an "inbound" student for the coming school year...if you or anyone you know (no need to be a Rotarian) could host this young man (17) from Sweden who loves to play American football and baseball for three months during the 2023-2024 school year, contact President Lindy... Rotary Foundation Recognition event at Wild Eye Pub ...order your own food, have fellowship with other Area 4 clubs, and recognize those who support The Rotary Foundation through their donations and hard work...sign up at the June 6 meeting...We will be honoring Gene Gilligan with an honorary Paul Harris Award for his many years working on the Daffodil Run that raises lots of funds for schools, the park and us!
