We had a fabulous meeting with District International Chair Carolyn Feuille last week! We learned about all the different opportunities to participate in international service through Rotary. We are looking for an International Service Chair for our club, so if you're interested in helping, let President Lindy or PE Pamela know.
This week's speaker is Alex Rosprim. She took a three month trip to the South Pacific with Verto Education, a college level program that focuses cultural and environmental areas. Should be a great program!
Science Night at Williams Ranch School is Wednesday, Feb. 12. Volunteers should arrive at 5pm.
Help with science projects at the annual Science Night like George did last year, and thanks to Nicole and Darleen for coordinating the event and the volunteers!
Soles4Souls -- the Rotary Club of Fernley is collecting flip-flops to send to Pakistan. Bring your new or gently used flip-flops to a club meeting and we'll get it to where they need to go...(not to the 76 station..LOL!!).
Also, the Nevada Union Interact Club is collecting gently used coats for their Coat Drive. This drive ends on February 18. Bring your used coats to the club meeting on Tuesday!
