I hope everyone's power is back on!!!  It's been a trying few weeks...hopefully we won't have to experience this for awhile...

 

Info on meetings, etc. for next week:

 

We are dark on Tuesday, Nov 5 due to the Foundation Dinner on Wednesday Nov 6...

 

We need a few volunteers to help with set up on Wednesday Nov 6...starting around 3pm...please let Pamela Yazell (pamelayaz@gmail.com) or me (lindybeatie@gmail.com) know if you can help...

 

For those of you who have signed up for the Foundation Dinner --

Remember, the event will be at the Gold Miner's Inn in Downtown Grass Valley, 5:30 pm Cocktails and fellowship, 7:00 pm  Dinner buffet and program.

If you can mail in your checks soon to pay for the meal, that would be helpful...

 

Our speaker for the dinner is Jean Irwin-Hatfield, a Educational Specialist for the Deaf, and long-time advocate of the hearing impaired. Jean was a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar and is a fantastic speaker...

 

Our regular meetings will start again on November 12 by honoring our Vets... the speaker will our very own  retired Navy Captain Bob Kline discussing the transition of the USS Midway into a Museum...Come and celebrate the holiday season and honor our Vets!!
