Monday, October 24...World Polio Day...Pints for Polio at the bar at Players Pizza from 5pm - 9 pm... 50 cents of each pint goes to our End Polio Now fund November TBD....Farm to Fork dinner supporting Ag Education and Youth Programs for our PV youth From Pres Lindy: We are happy to welcome new member, Tom Diede, into membership at Penn Valley Rotary...Tom is a long time resident, serves on the Penn Valley Chamber board and owns Bed and Breakfast...We will induct him into the club officially during District Governor Jeff's visit on October 4... And a special welcome to visitor Dorothy Pina from Century21Cornerstone real estate...she's thinking of joining as well so you may see her at the next meeting... We've been asked by Bright Futures for Youth to collect backpacks...no supplies, just backpacks for homeless youth. If you can pick one up in the next month and bring to the club meeting, I'll arrange to get them to BFFY

Our "Golf for Kids" fundraiser is set for October 23 at Lake Wildwood ... this is a partnership with the Penn Valley Lions...a major fundraiser for us so if you're not golfing, remember to support the twosomes that do...if you know someone who would love to play Lake Wildwood, invite them too...we'll looking for(e) each golfer to raise pledges/$$ for our youth programs...
