Hello, my name is Ingrid Mees. I am a sophomore in high school at Nevada Union in Grass Valley. I have been accepted into the Rotary Youth Exchange program to study abroad for a year during my junior year. Throughout my life, I have developed a passion for traveling. It started when I went to Thailand with my mom as a little kid and I most recently went to Italy. The time I have spent traveling has shown me the importance of expanding my educational horizon. I strongly believe that being able to explore different lifestyles and educational practices outside of Grass Valley will inspire me to reach dreams I never thought were possible.
