From Pres Joyce: Good meeting last week...Shelby McNamara, new Development Director at Interfaith Food Ministry, talked about the increase in need due to food insecurity in our community, especially for seniors and families. IFM's goal is to provide healthy foods, some of it picked from their own gardens. They always have a need for paper bags and folks to help on distribution days, which are Monday, Wednesday and Friday and still drive thru. Rotarians are People of Action and Service *** Interfaith Food Ministry is looking for volunteers to staff their Thursday E-Waste weekly disposal...7am - 11 am...contact Venus at VenusPM.IFM@gmail.com *** Sierra Nevada Regional Dept of Child Support and Community Beyond Violence are providing students with school supplies and backpacks. We will be collecting supplies at our June 21, July 5 and July 19 meetings.
