When we meet again on Tuesday, the Club Leadership Assembly and the Daffodil Run will be behind us. I am sure that our new 2016-17 leaders will pick up something to help make next year a success. With rain expected on daffodil Sunday, we will hope that it’s success is not hindered. Thank you all who worked this fundraiser.
The hat was passed for a second time for contributions to support the Rose Bowl float. In two weeks, we raised $51.00 which was more than what was expected of us as a club. Thank you for your generosity.
Jeanne Puleo was presented with her first Paul Harris Fellowship as well as my choice as Rotarian of the Month for March for her orchestration of the music and speech contests. We also thank her for devoting her life to Dick Landis in his last few months on this earth.
Bill Drown, fellow Rotarian, gave a comical program on his devoted involvement with the Grass Valley Police Department volunteer program.
Our program for this coming week will be Steve Hansen, senior project coordinator for Nevada Union High School.
