June 20 ... Sierra Harvest presentation...Aimee Retzler will talk about the vision of Sierra Harvest .. also a visit from our outbound exchange student, Sierra Spivak-Young as she gets ready to go to Italy!! We are Dark July 4...Happy New Year and Fourth of July everyone... July 18...Economic update on insurance and real estate.. July 25...Dinner at Lindy and Gordon's home to celebrate the 22-23 year and usher in the 24-25 year!! ******************************************************************* Rotary events... We had a great time honoring Rotarians who had made contributions to our Rotary International Foundation on June12. Pat Swope, who received a Paul Harris +2, was there as well as Gene Gilligan who received an honorary Paul Harris for his work with the Daffodil Run and other PV Chamber activities over many, many years. Thanks to the Grass Valley Rotary Club of organizing this event. This November it's our Club's turn to plan the Area 4 Rotary Foundation dinner so put on your creative hats ... HELPING OUR COMMUNITY... We're asking all PV Club members to bring your travel size shampoos, soaps and lotions to meetings in June and July ..Pamela Yazell will bring them to Hospitality House.. Also, we'll be collecting easy to open canned foods for the Food Bank of Nevada County... Brandy Carter, the Agriculture instructor at Ready Springs school, needs folks to help with watering the garden this summer...since the soil was not good to do trenching, we did not get to install automatic sprinkler system...A sign up sheet will be at the next club meeting...
