Bob Kline would like us to participate at the next work day finishing the preparation of the area for Momentum pros to come in to construct the first segments of the bike track. Come to the Bike Park area on Saturday, April 13, from 10 am to 1 pm. Feeding the chipper and clearing some more debris clearing from the jumplines, pump track and skills area is on the work list. With enough folks, work can get done quickly. Bring work gloves and hydration and take poison oak precautions if you are sensitive just in there is any left in the worksite. If you have rakes, garden rakes, or pitch forks please bring them to supplement the BONC tools. Meet at the dog park; for more information check their Facebook page: Gateway Bike Park.

Club Members Attend District Foundation Dinner and Club Leadership Assembly in Reno
District 5190's Foundation Dinner was held at Nugget Friday night. Our very own Pam Yazell was honored with receiving her Triple Crown Honor for support of the Rotary Foundation. Lindy Beatie, Pam Yazell, Karen and Doug McDonald attended the day long training on Saturday at the Nugget. Special breakouts for President Elects, Secretary, Treasurer, International Service, Membership, among others were interesting and had many ideas to help clubs handle administration of the club. The lunch time speaker was PDG Shirley Grace, District 5230. Shirley gave a talk about her journey from a receiver of Rotary service to being a giver of Rotary service.
Pam Yazell receives her Triple Crown from DG Tina Spensor-Mulhern    PDG Doug McDonald makes a presentation

Twenty members of our club came out to support the  Joanie Bumpus Daffodil Run. Some 200 runners, walkers and kids had a beautiful morning to strut their stuff down the streets of Penn Valley which in turn supports our Club plus other local service organizations and the needs of the victims of the Camp Fire.
