MEETING TIMES....1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month, noon, Players Restaurant and Sports Bar, Penn Valley... Tuesday, April 1...no foolin' ... we're having a meeting on this date...We'll have an update on the Daffodil Run and jobs that might still need to be covered, and a rep from Compassionate Care (Formerly Hospice) will chat about their restructuring to better serve the community... Envelope Stuffing - April 5 at Lindy's House Starting at noon Jobs that need to be done day of event: Arrive at 7:00 - set up tents, set up boxes on tables in alpha order, direct traffic at Ready Springs School, Cut up fruit for runners/walkers return, set up water stations, set up awards station after runners/walkers leave... Pre - event tasks: Pick up oranges from Safeway, Set sponsorship sign along path (thank you Dan Happs and family for this), Fill large water barrels with water (garden water ok) and bring to Wildflower Nursery day of event, Pick up swag/info on Friday from sponsors that will go into runner/walkers envelopes ** Penn Valley Rodeo.. May 16 & 17...parking fund raiser mark your calendars...We will also participate in the Parade on Saturday...staging at 12:30, parade starts at 2... ************************************************ District and International activities...
