Well, it's been a wonderful, whirlwind trip through The Netherlands for Gordon, Pamela and me...visiting cousins, relaxing and exploring sights throughout these last three weeks. A special thanks to Dan and Doug for handling the meeting duties...very grateful for such helpful members.
The meeting for Tuesday, Oct 1, will review the topics discussed at our Club's visioning workshop in August. The fabulous team of members who participated presented thoughtful and concrete ideas on making our Club more engaging and relevant to our community, putting Service Above Self front and center. I'd like to get the rest of the Club's input, so please join us for this meeting to see how we can continue to support our community through our Rotary Service.

We couldn't meet last week due to the public safety power shutoff in the Penn Valley area. Players was in the middle of recovery from the first power outage and couldn't open for lunch last Tuesday. We'll have to reschedule Eliza Tudor of the Nevada County Arts Council. Thanks for your patience and understanding.
Many of us will attend the Avenue of Service Seminar in Reno tomorrow (Saturday, Sept 28). See you there!
Fairway Test - Golf for Our Kids is coming up on October 6th. Pledges can be made on our website (pennvalleyrotary.org) or use the pledge forms.
