From Pres Joyce: PV Rotary Club Holiday Party!!! was a great success...special thanks to Sarah Prosser for organizing!! Winner of the sweater/costume contests were Pamela, Paula and Joyce for her crazy hat...We had a "guess the candies" and Lindy won that contest with a guess of 120 (the number was 122, so close!!) MARK YOUR CALENDARS... Holiday Market WOW donation days... Holiday Market, Dec 11 asking folks to donate their WOW points to our Penn Valley Rotary account ...these points help us purchase food for the holiday baskets for our families ...Here are the members that have signed up for the corresponding times: Thank you to Ed McSweeney, Pamela Yazell and Michael Green, and Theo and Philip Van Vacas Gagnon for helping with tabling last Saturday... This coming weekend assignments include: Sat, Dec 11 10-11:30...Mike Kelley and Sue Hoek; Sat Dec 11 11:30 to 1...Mark Bailey & Tessa Devere Holiday Basket stuffing..December 16...morning shopping, 8:30 stuffing ... Need trucks to transport the turkeys...more info at the Dec 7 meeting Also, we need volunteers to help with the Christmas Tree recycling event January 8 from 8 to 1...anyone with a truck and/or trailer is asked to help...we have 7 routes throughout Lake Wildwood to cover...thanks to Melissa Conley for stepping up to take on the leadership of this event, but "It Takes a Village" to handle this project so mark your calendars...sign up at both December meetings...
