We had a great update from Richard Baker of Siteline Architecture about the Western Gateway Bike Park...the skills track is in, the little tikes' pump track is in, the youth track is coming along and another phase is in the works..If you have not visited, make sure and take a walk through, or make sure and come to the Demotion and take a walk through before dinner...

Here's the run down for the June meetings:
June 23...Zoom lunch meeting 12:00 noon...visit from Janeth from Gold Country Community (Senior) Services, to discuss our club helping with Lake Wildwood meals delivery; a visit from Dutch Rotorator who drove from The Netherlands to Gambia on a Rotary project...and a wrap up of our 2019-2020 Rotary Year..
June 26 (new date!!)..Demotion of President Lindy (about time...LOL) ...salad, BYO Drinks and a dessert to share...Remember to RSVP to the email from Past President Mark (via Joyce)...

Help with planning a July 4th ( but on the 3rd) celebration for the families that pick up meals at Ready Springs...We'll be working on a celebration for families that pick up meals on July 3, so if you have any creative ideas on how to celebrate the 4th, let President Lindy know...some ideas include: balloons, handmade pinwheels to distribute, bag of noise makers among others...connect with President Lindy lindybeatie@gmail.com to volunteer to help...
Survey Monkey results: A survey was sent out the first part of June to gauge the thoughts about our Club meetings...here are the results:
16 folks responded...10 very likely to continue with Rotary, 4 somewhat likely to continue and 2 unlikely....8 preferred in person meetings, 7 preferred zoom...Month to start inperson meetings: August, September, October in that order...1/2 liked monthly socials and 1/2 did not...Comments: outdoors prefered for inperson meetings, mix of inperson and zoom meetings, more folks need to participate...
New Year's Dues....At the Penn Valley Rotary Club Board meeting, the discount of District dues was discussed in relationship to each club member's overall dues...the dues for this Rotary Year (July 1 to June 30) will be $155, reflecting the $20 discount for District 5190 dues...this is a one time discount...Each member will receive a statement from the Treasurer listing their dues amount and the amounts of their birthday/anniversary fines...the dues may be paid in two parts, July/august 2020, and January 2021...the birthday/anniversary fines are due in the month that each occurs...each member will be receiving an updated statement to follow their payment progress...questions: contact President Pamela at pamelayaz@gmail.com or Treasurer Ed at ed@mcsweeneyandassociates.com.
