PLANTS FOR POLIO....We had a great day! A number of folks wandered through and chatted with us...Thank you so much to Lori Jayne, her sister Carol and son Brandon for allowing us to publicize World Polio Day and to receive 10% of sales for our Polio Plus campaign... Please volunteer!!! Paula Collins and Prez Pamela are starting a "Read to the Class" program with Williams Ranch school, via zoom.. Anyone who wants to help read once a week to students for approximately 1/2 hour via zoom, connect with Paula Collins at 273-7461...Should be FUN !!! (remember our 5th Rotary Rule!!)... The Garden Project - UPDATE: Mark Bailey, Greg Marshall and Gordon went over to the school to scope out the Compost pile refurbishing project .... will schedule another visit to install and clean up this week..stay tuned for emails on how you can help...also, will need help with getting planter boxes installed and planted, working on a schedule with Principal Chrissy now... We've already paid your dues, can you make sure and send us your check to refill the coffers!! ...mail to the club at PO Box 120, Penn Valley, CA 95946...you can pay in two installments, and do not have to pay your birthday/anniversary fines until the month they are due....Thanks for keeping Rotary alive in Penn Valley...
