Watch for a separate email from President Lindy with the Zoom link for the Social, to be held this Tuesday, April 28 at 5 pm....

Hey Penn Valley Rotarians...After a few tries, President Lindy is feeling secure enough to have an on-line Social (using the software known as Zoom) on April 28 at 5pm.  There are some very special guests that may bounce in and out of this meeting...Maybe a county supervisor, maybe a former RYE student, maybe a troop of youth...one never knows!!! AND  it will be great to see everyone's smiling face and catch up.  Wear your favorite baseball cap...maybe there'll even be a toilet paper roll raffle and Happy Bucks to brighten our Social...Adult beverages optional!!  You should receive the Zoom link from President Lindy no later than Sunday, April 26...Click on the link to practice and test your sound anytime at least half an hour before the meeting.

World Immunization Day...April 24-30...Did You Know...??
In countries where polio is a threat, children’s pinky fingers are marked with purple ink after they’re immunized. This helps health workers know which children are protected. That's why our High School Interactors have Purple Pinky fundraisers at their football games... #VaccinesWork #endpolio

Unfortunate consequences of the state we're in...District 5190 has decided to suspend the Short Term Youth Exchange program for this summer given the uncertainty of the state of the Covid-19 virus. Skylah Kerr, our short term exchange student, will not be traveling to Italy this summer but will continue to connect with her host family via Skype, Facetime and other social media platforms...perhaps she can visit her new "family" next summer or at a later date this year...

Support our Cub Scouts...
Hi! This is Pack 275. We are selling camp cards to help pay the way to camp this year. The cards are only $5 and have discounts at many great local stores and restaurants. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic we cannot sell cards in person this year. It’s just not safe for us or you. However, there is still a way to help us earn my way.  For the first time this year there is an online option to purchase your camp card and we are hoping we can count on your support.  Please click the link below to place an order.  Some of the best deals are one time use so don’t be afraid to order more than one card!  Every card we sell gets me a little closer to camp this summer. Don’t forget to use Pack 275 in the order form so that we get the credit.
Click here to order your camp card now!
Thank you for your support!

I think that's all I have...thanks....LJB
