Next Meeting Tuesday, December 15, Noon.... Zoom meeting.....
It's time to celebrate the season...unfortunately we won't be able to have a Holiday Party like last year (who can forget Greg and Lin's winning sweaters!!??) However we can dust off our ugly (or cute however you perceive them) sweater and join the gang for the Ugly Holiday Sweater contest...first prize is...to be determined but we can chat about "our stay at home" holiday plans and send Dan Halloran off into the Arizona sunset with a huge "Bravo and Thanks"...

Maybe a visit to Bullmastiff Brewery on Tuesday December 29??  Although we may be on a "stay at home" order, perhaps we can do a tribute to the New Year with a pint of beer from the new Penn Valley Brewery - Bullmastiff Brewery ...owners Dave and Tina from Players Pizza opened up their new addition in October...Lindy and Gordon went to visit this weekend and the beer is GOOOOODDDD!!! More details to come...

PREZ PAMELA'S PROSE...

Last week's meeting featured our District 4 Supervisor, Sue Hoek...
An interesting update on our county was delivered by Penn Valley’s Supervisor Sue Hoek.  She talked about Covid19 in the county.  The numbers are up as are hospitalizations.  If you want more specific information then go to :  covid19.ca.gov. .Funny, she thought when she took over for Hank Weston that her biggest area of concern would be marijuana grows but instead she got Covid,  The county is doing a good job....She reminded everyone to please wear a mask, socially distance and follow the rules.  One other area she brought up were applications for Nevada County's Citizen's Academy, a ten week class on county services.   It starts in January.  If you are interested talk to Mark Bailey or Lindy Beatie for more information or check out www.mynevadacounty.com/376/Citizens-Academy.
