Next Hospitality House cooking - April 23 Need: Volunteers to help with the Interact Easter Movie Night at Ready Springs School, April 11 5-8...taking tickets, working the snack bar...sign up sheet at meeting... Rotary club of Nevada City is working with Ananda's Crystal Heritage Garden to conduct a walkthrough on April 17 at 5:30 pm (Rain or Shine) sign up info at the meeting... Music contest was a hit!! Winning performer is Bassoonist Joshua Tiffany, who will go on to the District Conference contest...congrats to all who participated.. Our club will be providing a basket for this event...please sign up for the item(s) you'd like to bring to the April 15 meeting to assembly the basket.. The Rotary club of Penn Valley Foundation approved the following donations: To the Gardening/ Water project in San Miguel de Allende, discussed by Brian Bisnett of the 49er Rotary Club, at the last Rotary meeting... To Roots and Wings Foundation sponsoring their Wine Cruise for the schools. Also approved by the Foundation were scholarship for the following students: Sage Wang, James Parker Frank, Faith Krason, James Griffin, Phil Van Vacas Gagnon...congrats to all!! People of Action ... **Daffodil Run: April 6 ..This is a major fundraiser for our club!! all hands on deck.. remind friends - no race date registration -- daffodilrunpv.com... Envelope Stuffing - April 5 at Lindy's House Starting at noon ( will send out email with details) Jobs that need to be done day of event: Arrive at 7:00 - set up tents, set up boxes on tables in alpha order, direct traffic at Ready Springs School, Cut up fruit for runners/walkers return, set up water stations, set up awards station after runners/walkers leave...Sign ups at meeting... Pre - event tasks: Pick up oranges from Safeway, Set sponsorship sign along path (thank you Dan Happs and family for this), Fill large water barrels with water (to be handled by PV Lions), Pick up swag/info on Friday from sponsors that will go into runner/walkers envelopes..sign ups at meeting.. ** Penn Valley Rodeo..
