Board meeting at 10:00 am...place to be announced From Pres Joyce: UPDATE ON CLUB ACTIVITIES: This Sunday, October 3 is our club's Golf for Kids event at Lake Wildwood... Make sure you connect with Gene Vander Plaats ( genovp@msn.com ) or President Joyce (joyce@twinvalleyins.com) if you would like to cheer on the golfers as they come in around 4 pm.....Golfers to date: Bruce Feldman, Gene Vander Plaats, DeeDee Vierra, Mark Fleming, Mike Dobbins and visiting Rotarian from Danville, Steve McKae!! .. Make a pledge to anyone of the golfers...This is one of our fundraisers to raise funds for our youth leadership program sponsorships, Boy Scout troop sponsorship, Little League and other projects throughout the year to help our community. Rotary funding at it's best....Our Team of 7 eighth graders from Ready Springs School headed to Rotary Eighth Grade Leadership Camp, in Portola, last weekend, September 24-26...Watch for photos and an in-person presentation when they return...a great opportunity to hear how our support of these programs makes a difference in the lives of our community's students. Remember to donate your Holiday Market WOW points to the Rotary Club of Penn Valley account ...these points help us purchase food for the holiday baskets for our families ...Nicole will have tables outside of Holiday Market beginning in November to remind the PV community to donate to us as well...however, you can start anytime!! Mark your calendars: World Polio Day...we will be working with New Life Nursery again on Plants for Polio - October 24....
