Plants for Polio Day - redo...well it was rather blustery to say the least on Oct 24, so New Life Nursery has graciously offered another date for Plants for Polio...we're going with November 13 from 9 to 4 with Rotarians staffing a table from 12 - 2...if you could help out, let Lindy B know...thx to Brandon and Lori for offering such a generous opportunity to support Rotary's fight against Polio... Plant Daffodil Bulbs project...on November 20, 9-11...Brandon from New Life Nursery has asked us to help to plant Daffodil Bulbs, through out areas of Penn Valley...these flowers pop up during the Daffodil run, which will be held this year on April 3...starting place to be announced... MARK YOUR CALENDARS... PV Rotary Holiday Party!!! December 4 at the Lake Wildwood Lodge...details to follow ... Holiday Market WOW donation days... Nicole Van Vacas Gagnon has arranged for us to table outside of Holiday Market on Dec 4 & 11 to ask folks to donate their WOW points to our Penn Valley Rotary account ...these points help us purchase food for the holiday baskets for our families ...We need folks to staff the tables outside of Holiday Market to remind the PV community to donate to us .. a sign up sheet will be circulated during the next few meetings.... Holiday Basket stuffing..December 16...morning shopping, 8:30 stuffing ... Need trucks to transport the turkeys... Also, we need volunteers to help with the Christmas Tree recycling event January 8 from 8 to 1...anyone with a truck and/or trailer is asked to help...we have 7 routes throughout Lake Wildwood to cover...thanks to Melissa Conley for stepping up to take on the leadership of this event, but "It Takes a Village" to handle this project so mark your calendars...
