Scott McFarland, CEO of Western Sierra Medical Clinic, was our guest speaker Tuesday, talking to a packed audience at Players.

The new medical clinic in Penn Valley is part of a 7-office medical organization in Northern California—three of which are in Nevada County.

 

 

Scott explained how his  medical facility works closely with our local hospital, Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital—and other hospitals in the neighboring counties—to serve the various medical needs of local residents.

 

Our thanks to Scott, and his Chief Communications Officer, Cheryl Rubin, for joining us for lunch. We wish them the very best and our thanks for the wonderful addition and service Western Sierra provides our community.

 

There were no birthdays to celebrate. No anniversaries, either.  

 

Sheila Grizzell won the draw...lost the Blue. 

 

Darleen Won-Golder won the trivia question (Sherlock Holmes played a violin) but the extra tickets for the Roots and Wings Wine Cruise were a bust.    

 

The board meets next Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the TWI office above Pleasant Valley Pharmacy, followed by the regular meeting at 12:15 p.m. at Players. Our guest will be the new General Manager of Lake Wildwood, Bob Mariani.
