Board meeting at 10:00 am...place to be announced From Pres Joyce: Our last September meeting featured Penn Valley Schools Superintendent, Melissa Conley...Melissa spoke about activities at the school, the challenge when teachers have to quarantine and the excitement of student being back on campus. She was presented with books for the schools' libraries donated by our club, in honor of each speaker during Past President Pamela's year...We also welcomed guests Tessa DeVere for the second time, and Christi Kelley, wife of Michael Kelley ...Hope to see you again...Remember, each one, bring one... If you have small bottles of toiletries to donate, please bring them so that Past President Pamela can donate them to Hospitality House. WE'LL have an update at the meeting on Tuesday about the success of the Golf for Kids event...a super high five and thanks to Gene Vander Plaats for organizing this event... Remember to donate your Holiday Market WOW points to the Rotary Club of Penn Valley account ...these points help us purchase food for the holiday baskets for our families ...Nicole will have tables outside of Holiday Market beginning in November to remind the PV community to donate to us as well...however, you can start anytime!! Mark your calendars: World Polio Day...we will be working with New Life Nursery again on Plants for Polio - October 24.... Penn Valley Area Chamber will be hosting an online Auction, Starting October 9, check out their FaceBook page for items... Also we will be helping Brandon at New Life Nursery plant daffodil blubs throughout the Penn Valley area towards the end of October, beginning of November...watch for details...
