Jim McCabe and Mark Fleming were recognized for their contribution leading to Penn Valley Rotary Club receiving plaques for Holiday Lights in the Park 2017 "Best of Show" awards.
Christina Levinson, Bear River Journalism Teacher, and Josh Howser, Bear River High School student editor, shared about the Bear River Current.  The weekly digital newsletter is just in it's second year at Bear River.  The students are planning on attending the National High School Journalism Conference in San Francisco this spring.  They expect to attend seminars, workshops, and competitions.  Christina expects Bear River to do very well at the competition.  This is amazing for a program that is in it's second year of existence on the campus.
