Let's welcome New Member Sharon Currie to our Club!! Sharon and husband Charles, moved here from Santa Ynez, on the central coast where she served as the President of the Santa Ynez Valley Association of Realtors, as well as a Director, Education Committee Chair and Local Government Relations Committee Chair. Currently she works at Re/Max and lives in Penn Valley...she loves our community and wants to contribute...this is her first time being a Rotarian... Let's get together....Mark your calendars!!! Please join us for President Pamela's demotion party on June 8 at 5 pm at Western Gateway Park. We will meet at the Pavilion up on the right knoll from the entrance closest to the bathrooms (not the pavilion next to disk golf). This is for members and guests/spouses and family. The dinner will be catered. We will be having Steak Taco's, Caesar Salad and Dessert. Water will be provided, however, if you want any other beverage, please bring that with you. The cost is $15 per person, to be collected at the event. Since food needs to be ordered, please RSVP President-Elect Joyce no later than June 2. Future Meetings... **May 18, noon, Dr. Brett McFadden discussing the Career Technical and Ag programs at the High Schools Planning on going back...President Elect Joyce had a conversation with Tina of Players Pizza....we will be returning to our usual stomping grounds starting the first Tuesday meeting of July...Meetings will be the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month, both lunch meetings, with a social planned for the 5th Tuesday of each quarter...Stay tuned for more details to come...
