The District Conference is right around the corner, beginning May 12th and running through the 15th at the Atlantis in Reno. Golf, good food, great speakers and much fun. Thanks to all that have registered. There is still time for anyone interested. We are short one golfer due to Bob Kline’s inability to attend because of his wife Jan’s medical needs. We wish her all the best in her recovery. If anyone is interested in taking his place on the golf course, let me know and I will make arrangements. Cost is $125 and includes a dinner at the Atlantis that evening.
Dave Walker was awarded our Rotarian of the Month for the month of April for his excellent work this year as membership chair. Thank you, Dave.
It was great talking with Andrew Puleoin Germany via Skype at our last meeting. He has grown so much through this experience. He will be coming home on June 28th.
Our program for this week will be Dennis Geare, our Assistant District Governor, speaking on his responsibilities, etc.
Immediate Past President Barbara Ross has scheduled my demotion dinner for Monday , June 27th at Western Gateway Park. Plug this date into your calendar as I will be stepping down for Dave Walker and Karen McDonald’s entrance.
Remember the Board Meeting will be held at 11AM just before the regular meeting next week.
