THIS WEEK'S SPECIAL VISITOR: District Governor RANDY VAN TASSELL
Please come greet and hear DG Randy at our meeting this week. Randy will share words of encouragement and thoughts about our club. The officers will meet with DG Randy at 10AM at Players, and be joined by the committee chairs at 11 AM. At Noon, we'll have our regular club meeting. Randy will induct two new members, present some awards, and bring us up to date about Rotary in the District and world-wide.
DISC AND DINE - Tuesday, August 27th - Western Gateway Park - 5pm
Don't forget that ticket money is due at this week's meeting. Each member is responsible selling at least 4 tickets, so $100 is due to the PV Rotary Foundation tomorrow. We will need a count of attendees so we can order enough food for everyone.
All PV Rotarians are to bring a DESSERT to the event.
We are in need of folks to work on the food committee and clean up committee. Please contact Debbi.
VISIONING SESSION WAS FUN AND PRODUCTIVE
Our club's Visioning session this past Saturday was facilitated by Robin Milam and Dennis Geare of the NC Club, Carol Scofield of GV South and PDG Gail Ellingwood of Smith Valley. We had 11 club members attend, and spent the morning in an interactive and positive session.
We did a great job in building a vision for our club for the next few years, which will be shared with the rest of the club in the next few weeks. We talked about membership growth, fundraising, local and international service projects, youth projects, and more.
The Lake Wildwood Clubhouse was a great place to meet and we had a great lunch.
