From Pres Joyce:

So excited....at our December 21 meeting we will be inducting two new members...come and see how we're growing and welcome the great folks that are becoming Penn Valley Rotarians...

Make your year end gift to the Rotary International Foundation...Making a gift directly from your IRA is a fantastic way to get the job done and avoid paying income taxes on that distribution.  If you are 701/2 plus, you can make that Qualified Charitable Distribution from your IRA. The gift must be received by December 31.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS...

We need volunteers to help with the Christmas Tree recycling event January 8 from 8 to 1...anyone with a truck and/or trailer is asked to help - we need two route drivers (with trucks) since  two from last year are not available.....we have 7 routes throughout Lake Wildwood to cover...thanks to Melissa Conley for stepping up to take on the leadership of this event, but "It Takes a Village" to handle this project so mark your calendars...sign up at both December meetings...

Plus we need strong young folks to help put the trees in the trailers so if you have children or spouses that can help lift and ride along in the trucks, let's get them signed up too...

Daffodil Run - April 3...we're starting our planning for the Daffodil Run...watch your emails for a planning date with our fearless leader, Gene Gilligan!!

THANK YOU THANK YOU...to all the members who helped with the holiday bag stuffing...and to Gordon and Ken for transporting the turkeys...It was a wonderful morning and the schools so appreciate all our help...
