Pups 4 Polio 2025 Fundraiser for Polio Plus
Penn Valley Rotary held a fundraiser at Western Gateway Park in October 2025 to support Rotary's Global Campaign to eradicate polio. The theme of the event was celebrating service and working dogs. Contributors to the event included Rudiger's organization (trains police canines), Sheriff & Park Dept with their service canines,Penn Valley Fire Department, Grass Valley area Therapy Dog associations, and Nevada County Department of Health. Also helping, food trucks, Photo with your Pup, and sheep herding dogs.
